First time here! Impressed with the food and service! Chefs were more entertaining than other places. Staff was very friendly with quick service. Will definitely be back!

All aspects of SAISAKI are excellent in my book! Service, ambience and food. I grew up going to BENIHANA and have loved hibachi dining every since. I find too many establishments that do the same thing but lack the tastes that I prefer and grew up liking so much. I am delighted and thankful that those of us in Chelsea have a place at our back door that is not only good but superior to places in many states. I tip my hat and praise the owner and staff for developing a beautiful, fresh and delightful dining area while excellently serving far above average quality and tasting food!

Great service--super helpful server. We got sushi, chicken tempura, and udon noodle soup. It was all delicious. They've done a lot with the interior. It had an urban Japan feel. We dug the 80s music playing. :)

Service is incredible. Yet to eat hibachi. The sushi is great. Love the music and the overall vibe.

Great sushi and the chef is very accommodating if you want him to make something special for you. The selection is limited but what they have is fresh and good. The tables are good and the scallop dinner was delicious and the scallops were huge!! We will be back!!

My wife and I love Japanese food and have tried them all in the Birmingham area. This is one of the two best places to eat. Everything is good from the Sushi to the salad dressing. The service is always great, many of the cooks are very funny and entertaining as well as being great cooks. I live in Chelsea and am so glad to have one of the best Japanese Steakhouses in the Birmingham area in our town. I have seen complaints on local Facebook pages saying it is too expensive. The prices are in line with all the other Japanese restaurants and I have paid more money for much less quality food at other restaurants, many within 10- 15 miles of Chelsea. This place needs local support so it will be around a long while. The owner is very nice, the staff is friendly and atmosphere is perfect for celebrations. A few tips: if you can't afford 2 meals, order a split meal at the Tippin table and you will have plenty of food. There is a 7.95 seating fee but with that comes extra rice, soup and salad for the second diner. They have more dipping sauces than yum yum, but you have to ask for them. Their Ginger dipping sauce is excellent but my favorite is the mustard sauce, it is good on everything. My wife and I like dipping the sushi and vegetables in a side of the ginger dressing. Just ask the cook and he will make sure you get them at no extra charge. Celebrate your next birthday there and you'll get a special celebration to mark the occasion. This is a local business that needs and deserves our support. I'm not a big fan of most of the restaurants in the area, but this is one that has my loyal support. One other thing. If you are looking for a quiet dining not out this is not the place. Anyone who knows anything about Japanese Steakhouse dining knows it can get a little rowdy. It's a place to celebrate and have a good time, not a place for an intimate, quiet meal. It's just not intended for that. We ate here with some friends a few weeks ago and had a blast.

Called in an order for lunch and got the Steak hibachi and roll tide roll. Both were delicious and plenty of food! I just wanted more veggies with the hibachi, but that's just my preference so not taking off any stars for that. They have a decent menu and prices for lunch. All in all enjoyed my togo food.

hostess were very kind and greeted us immediately as we walked in. Waitress was friendly- knowledgeable of the menu and had no issue making recommendations. Restaurant was chewy clean. The food was great. Nice friendly atmosphere. Nice to have hibachi in Chelsea. We Will definitely be going back!
